CET Education at Optrafair by Topcon University

On-stand education: 3 days, 23 hours of education, 60 CET points

 

Topcon have dedicated one of their five stands to Topcon University (TU). Stand E130 will consist of two educational pods for complimentary workshops on topics from Glaucoma, AMD, Anterior and Contact Lenses to Eye Nutritional Supplements, all of which come with CET accreditation.

There are also four business seminars on practice management software, where you can learn all about clinical records through to accounting with i-Clarity.

This year's workshops will be primarily case study led on a range of conditions and repeated over the weekend to give delegates more opportunities to book onto these highly sought after sessions. See the programme below and complete the booking form at the bottom of the page to book your spaces.

CET Keynote Lecture – Sunday 2nd April 12.30pm – 13.30pm 

 

Dr Carl Glittenberg MD, FEBO, will present 'New Highlights in Swept Source OCT Imaging and Angiography: The future of retinal diagnosis'. Click here to book.

This lecture will give an understanding of the principles of swept source OCT technology as well as its benefits in diagnosing and managing pathologies of the anterior and posterior chambers. The lecture will also give an introduction to the principles of swept source OCT angiography (SS-OCTA). How to interpret SS-OCTA as well as an overview of potential artefacts will be provided. Numerous case examples will be discussed in order to gain a better understanding of how to interpret swept source OCT. Finally an overview will be provided of where this technology will be headed in future.

 

  

 

 

 

 

Perimetry Workshop - Monday 3rd April 10.30am - 11.45am, Business Theatre


A hands-on workshop on a range of equipment supplied by manufacturers to enable optical professionals and practice staff who operate equipment which checks patients' visual fields to acquire a certificate of accreditation from FMO as well as CET points for registrants, featuring the Henson 9000.
