The Vienna Reading Center (VRC) was founded in 2005 as a subunit of the Department of Ophthalmology and Optometry at the Medical University of Vienna. The intention of the Vienna Reading Center was to perform systematic scientific analyses of OCT images provided by the clinical sites within international multicenter studies and to forward the data to the sponsor for further analysis.

Topcon Swept Source OCT
Topcon’s first commercially available Swept Source OCT has been accredited for studies the Vienna Reading Center. The Topcon DRI OCT-1 Atlantis offers a perfect resolution from the vitreous to the sclera, in one single image. With the Topcon DRI OCT-1 Atlantis you can explore the retina and see new structures and new details.
