Topcon Announce Platinum Sponsorship of Optrafair 2019
Topcon are delighted to announce that they are Platinum Sponsors of Optrafair 2019. The UK’s leading optical exhibition welcomed over 7,000 optical professionals and 150 exhibitors at its 40th anniversary event last April.
Continuing their commitment to the event that in the words of its organisers “is a celebration of optics”, Topcon are proud to be one of the main sponsors of this globally recognised trade show. Its worldwide reputation has allowed Topcon to introduce and launch exciting new technologies and advancements in diagnosis and efficiency over the years.
“The role of technology in optometry is always key and with advancements in automated refraction, early disease diagnosis and the introduction of artificial intelligence into the clinical process, all make the future both challenging and exciting.” remarked Graham Trevor, Director of Sales for Topcon (Great Britain) Medical Limited.
Commenting on what to expect from Topcon at Optrafair 2019, Graham added “cutting edge advancements in diagnostic software and clinical instruments which are designed to enhance the customers experience and improve efficiency in the test room.”
“Without the support and commitment of our sponsors, Optrafair would not be the event that it is today. Having Topcon as Platinum Sponsors this year, means the FMO is able to carry on with their vision for yet another memorable event. Optrafair unites the optical industry by offering a platform for exhibitors and visitors to develop their business, grow their awareness of new products and services and participate in a wide range of professional education and business training activities.” Added Stuart Burn, Vice Chair at FMO.
As leading exhibitors of optical equipment, Topcon will once again be taking the prime sponsorship spot on the conference bags and each delegate will get a sneak peek inside at historically unmissable Optrafair deals.
Alongside Topcon University’s sponsored keynote lunchtime lecture on Sunday 31st March, Optrafair attendees will once again have the chance to earn even more CET points on Topcon’s stand.
260 CET points were offered over 20 complimentary sessions last April, with 18 of 20 sessions being completely full. Over 100 delegates attended and speakers included Professor David Henson, Nicholas Rumney, Dr Alice McTrusty and Dr Scott Mackie. Topcon University will host similar CET opportunities in 2019, so watch this space for further details.
What’s more, Topcon has allied to a range of key, industry leading partners including Essilor, Thea, Optix and Hoya. These partnerships will help provide its customers with complete solutions and alternative ways to purchase clinical instruments such as OCT, pre-screening equipment and testing room refits.
Optrafair is taking place at the NEC in Birmingham between 30th March and 1st April. Topcon will be located at stands A50 and D50.
